SweetSpeaker is a speech synthesis system for Android with downloadable celebrity voices. This allows users to customize their Android phone with the voice of their choice. This is conceptually similar to how users currently customize their phones with downloadable ringtones. Increasing regulation of handset use while driving is an additional motivation for hands-free and eyes-free use. Additionally, this will allow for easier use by blind and visually impaired people.
